I’m Jane of Modified Ability Yoga in Greenville, SC, and we’re changing the narrative. I believe yoga should meet you exactly where you are—not the other way around.
Adaptive yoga is a personalized and inclusive approach to traditional yoga that’s designed to support people of all ability levels. It’s yoga without pressure or performance. It’s yoga that adapts to the body, rather than demanding the body conform to a pose.
Using props, mindful breath, modified movements and individualized support, adaptive yoga creates safe space for healing, growth and connection.
Here in Greenville, I work with people who:
Are recovering from injury, surgery, or stroke
Simply want a slower, more customized yoga experience
Experience chronic pain or fatigue
Use mobility aids or wheelchairs
Have developmental or cognitive disabilities

You don’t need prior experience. You don’t even need to stand or lie on a mat. Everything can be adapted—for you.
I offer 1:1 sessions and small group options designed around your (or your loved one’s) goals, needs and energy levels.
We might explore:
Using props, blocks, chairs or other support tools
Gentle seated poses
Supported standing work with a chair or wall
Breath-focused mindfulness practices
Soothing guided visualizations
Partner work with a caregiver or support person
Every session is rooted in compassion, presence, and possibility.
