At Modified Ability Yoga, every session is created with intention and care. Whether you’re seeking mindful movement, support through disability or a more peaceful connection to your breath, I’m here to guide you with practices tailored to your unique needs.
Adaptive Poses are designed to meet you exactly where you are—no pressure, no expectations. Whether you’re brand new to yoga or have years of experience, my Adaptive sessions focus on modifying traditional poses to fit your body, needs and comfort level. With the help of props like blocks, straps, chairs or walls, I help ensure that yoga becomes an inclusive, empowering experience for you. This approach is perfect for anyone who wants to practice yoga safely, confidently and comfortably at any stage of life.
I design these sessions specifically for individuals living with mild to severe disabilities, including those who are non-verbal or require significant modifications. It’s my ethos to bring compassion, creativity and years of experience to each person—whether it’s working from a wheelchair, in a bed, a seated-chair, on a mat, the floor or through guided stillness.
My deep focus on listening with both heart and intuition allows me to create progress-honed sessions for those who may not be able to express themselves verbally. Regardless, each soul and body still deeply benefits from movement, presence and loving attention.
Breath is one of the most powerful tools we have for calming the nervous system, grounding the body and quieting the mind. I love bringing these teachings to my social media content, newsletters and everyday conversations. I can also customize sessions that work directly on finding your unique moments and approaches of presence and breath!
The beauty lies in the simple, accessible breathing techniques that invite peace and clarity—with no prior experience needed.
For some clients, especially those who are non-verbal, I use my own ocean-like breath as an auditory cue to create a sense of rhythm, calm and connection.
Whether you (or a loved one) is feeling overwhelmed, overstimulated or just looking to reconnect to the body’s natural rhythms, mindful breath offers a gentle path inward.
