Progress with Grayson
GOAL: Holding her arm down without it drawing up due to spasticity.
PROGRESS: Allowing me to hold her arm down and out away from her body for ~ 30 seconds without resistance.
GOAL: Straightening her fingers without curling in towards her palm due to spasticity.
PROGRESS: Allowing me to hold her fingers straight out for ~ 30 seconds without resistance.
GOAL: To be able to hold her arm all the way up without her resisting in order to shave her underarms.
PROGRESS: Allowing me to hold her arm halfway up for ~ 30 seconds without resistance.
PROGRESS: Allowing me to hold her arm all the way up for ~ 30 seconds with less resistance.
GOAL: To be able to keep her toes from curling under in order for her to wear shoes comfortably.

PROGRESS: Allowing me to hold her toes straight out for ~ 1 minute without resistance.
GOAL: To be able to flatten her foot in order for her to wear shoes more comfortably.
Progress with Edward
GOAL: To be able to uncross his toes without resistance. I am touching his toes to acclimate to manipulation before I move to the next step.
Beginning to uncross his toes.
PROGRESS: Allowing me to uncross all of his toes at the same time and hold without resistance.
GOAL: To relax his hips by creating space between his knees. Here I am starting with my hand flat between his knees.
PROGRESS: Here I turn my hand sideways to increase space between his knees.
PROGRESS: Here I am able to add a pillow to increase space between his knees.
Notice no blanket under his feet.
PROGRESS: I am able to add a blanket under his feet which in turn raises his knees and allows for wider space between his thighs.

PROGRESS: A second pillow and a second blanket are added.
PROGRESS: A third pillow is added.
Due to his progression there is greater space between his lower legs which allows more range of motion in his hips.
Trying something new here. I rolled up a blanket for extra height under his knees. Amazing!
